Over the past 12 months the Digital Institute’s Centre for Doctoral Training has been focused on recruiting their first cohort of students, as well as writing and delivering the taught part of the programme. Successfully, the eleven students have progressed through this phase and have recently started on their individual PhD research projects.
To showcase the students’ research so far, the Centre has organised an Industry Day event on Friday 18th September, giving organisations the opportunity to meet the students and hear about their research, but also to chat informally with staff from the Centre and the other organisations attending, over lunch and drinks.
The Centre hopes the event will help organisations understand the ongoing work of the CDT and how they can get the most out of their relationship with the CDT over the coming years.
The event will start at 11:00 with the aim to end at around 15.00.
