The Core, managed by multi-award winning Creative Space Management, opened its doors in November 2014 introducing Science Central as a new quarter of Newcastle’s city centre. The first of several new public spaces, Blue Star Square, has also been completed and a series of paths have reconnected the city with the west end of town.
